Welcome to round 7 of the Tok'ra Kree! Prompt-a-thon!

The time has come to leave prompts for the 7th round, and due to the success of the last round we hope there will be as many prompts this time - if not more.

Prompting is open from May 1st and through May 8th. Anyone is welcome to leave Tok'ra related prompts on this post - whether you wish to create any fanworks for this round, or not. Leaving multiple prompts is encouraged! You can leave them all in one comment, or in several - it is all good.

The schedule for the rest of the prompt-a-thon can be found here.

How to leave prompts:

  • Prompts should belong to the Stargate universe (SG-1, SGA, SGU, and the original movie). Crossovers are permitted, though, and should be noted in the prompt.
  • Prompts can be for art or fic, or any. If nothing is noted, it will be assumed it is for any.
  • Prompts can be a word, a sentence, a line of dialogue, a quote, a picture, or a longer plot bunny.
  • Prompts can be ship, gen, or any.
  • Tok'ra are listed like this: Samantha Carter|Jolinar (host|symbiote).
  • Pairings should be listed like this: Samantha Carter|Jolinar/Martouf|Lantash.
  • In order to facilitate sorting of the prompts, please include the full name of the characters (i.e. Samantha Carter instead of Sam).
  • Prompts can, but does not have to, include the names of one or more characters.
  • OC characters, including OC Tok'ra, are welcome.
  • You can be as vague or specific as you want to, but you cannot control how someone who chose your prompt (if anyone), will interpret it.
  • It is possible to leave prompts anonymously.
  • You may reuse up to ten prompts from previous rounds R04 R05 R06.

Prompts should be left in this format:

Fandom (SG-1, SGA, SGU, pairing/character, prompt word(s)

or

Crossover, (SG-1, SGA, SGU) / other fandom (or SG-1, SGA, SGU), pairing/character, prompt word(s)

Pairings can also be threesomes, foursomes, moresomes.

Examples:

SG-1, Garshaw of Belote, How did she come to be known as "The most hunted Goa'uld of all time"?

Crossover, SG-1/SGA, Aldwin/Teyla Emmagan, She took him to see the sunset from Atlantis.

SG-1, Kanan, alone

SG-1, Jolinar, She had always loved him.

SG-1, Malek/Janet Fraiser, healers

SG-1, Samantha Carter/Martouf|Lantash, "Yes, I suppose this would be considered a date."

SG-1, Samantha Carter/Jack O'Neill, The symbiote in the jar was Tok'ra.

SGA, Steven Caldwell/Carson Beckett and OC Tok'ra, naquadah

SG-1, Samantha Carter|Jolinar, shared future

What does it mean that a prompt should be Tok'ra related? It just means that one or more Tok'ra should be included, and should play an important part in the fic/artwork that is later created from the prompt. The Tok'ra should not merely be there as an easy way to get information and/or technology.

If you need them, the rules can be found here (DW | LJ) and the FAQ is here (DW | LJ).

You can find information about each of the Tok'ra (including a picture) here, and about each of the Goa'uld (including a picture and symbol, if known) here (01 02). The information also contains lists of episodes the Tok'ra or Goa'uld have been in. There is also a list of episodes that have a Tok'ra in them. It can be found here and a list of screencaps of episodes with Tok'ra here.

If you need inspiration, you can find lists of prompts/plot bunnies here: 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, previous rounds R04, R05, R06.

SG-1, Robert Kinsey|Tok’ra, AU for episode “Full Alert” – the Trust agents capture Kinsey & implant him with a Goa’uld symbiote but unbeknownst to them the symbiote is really a Tok’Ra spy. How does it change the events of the episode? And how will Kinsey get along with his new “guest”?

SGA, Hathor, John Sheppard, Tok’Ra character(s), AU diverging from the episode “Vegas” – after barely-surviving his encounter with a life-sucking space-vampire in the Nevada desert Detective John Sheppard thought he was done with aliens for good. Helping some beige-wearing, eye-flashing extraterrestrials stop a homicidal Egyptian goddess & her brainwashed followers from taking over Stargate Command & the world? That definitely wasn’t on his to do list!

SGU, an AU diverging from the episode “Twin Destinies” – in the original episode the crew of the Destiny tries to gate to Earth but due to solar activity they instead end up stranded 2000 years in the past on an unknown planet in an unexplored galaxy. What if instead of ending up on an unknown planet they were sent to Earth when Egeria was there? Or what if they ended up on some other planet in the Milky Way and had to be rescued form Goa’uld by Tok’Ra? What would the crew of Destiny do now that they are stuck in the past? What do they reveal to the Tok’Ra about the future and how would it change things?

SG-1, any character, after the events of Ark of Truth the Tok'Ra attempt to use the Ark to convince one or more Goa'uld to accept the Tok'Ra way of life. Maybe they even try this on a Goa'uld Queen, attempting to solve their population decline problem. Does it work? And what does the SGC get in exchange for letting the Tok'Ra use the Ark of Truth?

SG-1, any characters, a  "Continuum Role-Reversal" of sorts - after the events of Ark of Truth Ba'al managed to fill the power vacuum left behind by the Ori and has conquered much of the galaxy. In a last-ditch effort to stop him the SGC & Tok'Ra send a team to the ancient past, hoping to use the Ark of Truth on Ra/other System Lords and turn them "good", thus saving the galaxy from the tyranny of the Goa'uld forever. But Ba'al has sent back a team of his own to prevent the joint Tau'ri-Tok'Ra mission from succeeding.

SG-1, Cameron MitchellSymbiote, when Mitchel is battling Ba'al's forces in 1939 onboard the Achillies he is gravely injured. An immature Goa'uld symbiote from one of the dead Jaffa takes him as host & heals him. Mitchel is able to talk with the Goa'uld in his head but the symbiote is too young to suppress the Colonel. Thus it is only able to take control of Cameron periodecally when he is asleep. What does Col. Mitchel do? Go throughh the gate & seek out Tok'Ra for help? Try to "convert" his Goa'uld symbiote into a Tok'Ra? You decide.

SGU, any canon or OC character, what if one of the Lucian Alliance soldiers that invaded the Destiny was an undercover Tok'Ra operative? Who would it be and what would he/she do?

SGU, Dr. Amanda Perry|Tok’ra, either during or before the events of the show Dr. Amanda Perry becames blended with a Tok'Ra & regaines the use of her limbs.

SGU, Dr. Andrew Covel|Tok’ra and/or Senator Michael|Tok’ra, after being exposed to a lethal dose of radiation in episode "Alliance" Senator Michael and/or Dr. Andrew Covel agree to blend with a Tok'Ra in order to live.

Some old prompts, round 4:

SG-1, any, what if they find some Jaffa in a stasis bubble and they were Jolinar's and they carry Egeria's symbionts and one of them is a queen.

SG-1, various Tok'ra and SG-1, they find information that Egeria had a daughter and hid her, but the catch is that the only one who had the information needed to find her is Jolinar, and she is dead

SG-1, Egeria, Egeria accidentally takes a host while the Pangarans are experimenting on her. How does this change the situation for the Tok’ra?

SG-1, Freya|Anise, after Jack had rejected them, they went to talk to Sam - and ask for advice.

SG-1, Malek, why doesn't we hear his host?

SG-1, Sam/Martouf|Lantash, "Yes, I suppose this would be considered a date."

SG-1, Sam/Martouf|Lantash, garden party with SG-1

SG-1, Sam/Martouf|Lantash, meeting Sam's brother

SG-1, Sam/Martouf|Lantash, she found a way to save them

SG-1, Sam/Martouf|Lantash, She had to admit approaching them like that had been an experiment at first - triggered by a memory from Jolinar. Soon, however, she found she could not stop herself. One kiss lead to another, and now she knew she loved them. It didn't matter if the love had been triggered by something leftover from Jolinar - it was her love now.

Let's start with some prompts from previous rounds, then I'll be back with new prompts later :)

SG-1, Rosha|Jolinar, the mission where she ended up on Netu

SG-1, Sam|Jolinar, Jolinar flashes her eyes at Jack before she pushes him through the Gate in "In the Line of Duty".

SG-1, Sam|Jolinar, She (Jolinar) survived. What now? Will Sam remain her host? Will she be allowed to/want to stay on SG-1? Will she join the Tok'ra? Split her time between them? How does the meet with the Tok'ra go?

SG-1, Sam|Jolinar, the device had brought her back

SG-1, Freya|Anise/Jack/Daniel, hot foursome sex

SG-1, Yosuuf|Garshaw/Jack, she want him - how does she seduce him?

SG-1, Jack|Kanan, let us see the blending (or lack of same) with Jack O'Neill, as seen from Kanan's point of view

SG-1, Anise|Freya/Jack|Kanan, Jack changed his mind about them after he became a host.

SG-1, Sam/Martouf|Lantash, they are on a mission together, spying on the Goa'uld. Sam is the only one from SG-1 who could come (or wanted to come).

SG-1, Sam/Jack and Jack/Daniel and possibly Sam|Jolinar/Martouf|Lantash, when Jolinar is revived in Sam by an alien thingie, Jack is unable to hide his disgust for the Tok'ra. He demands that she chooses between him and Jolinar. Sam makes the heart-wrenching decision to pick Jolinar, and leaves Jack. Jack seeks comfort with Daniel and realizes he loves him. Possibly also some Sam|Jolinar/Martouf|Lantash since Martouf|Lantash could very well be alive in this AU!

First I have some prompts that I collected from old lists.

SGA, Elizabeth Weir, She finds a stasis jar in one of the rooms they haven't searched on Atlantis. It contains a Tok'ra queen and she becomes her host.

SGU, any, what if one of the crew on Destiny was a Tok'ra, but the others didn't know it yet?

SG-1, Jolinar, how come she joined the Tok'ra?

SG-1, Korra, let us hear of his mission undercover with Sokar

SG-1, Cordesh, he took O'Neill as host, and now the Tok'ra have to save Earth

SG-1, various Tok'ra and SG-1, they find information that Egeria had a daughter and hid her, but the catch is that the only one who had the information needed to find her is Jolinar, and she is dead

SG-1, Zarin, let her live. Maybe have Teal'c put her in a sarcophagus when he realizes the Tok'ra are not to blame.

SG-1, Sam/Martouf|Lantash, "Yes, I suppose this would be considered a date."

SG-1, Sam/Martouf|Lantash, d&c didnt happen. Season 5 maybe. m/l is prison of Ba’al and Sam saves him

SG-1, Sam/Martouf/Lantash, Sam takes him home to meet her brother and his family.

SG-1, Malek/Sam, at first she was not interested because any Tok'ra reminded her too much of Martouf

SG-1, Sam/Jack, both become original characters Tok'ra hosts and symbionts love. Now Sam and Jack can no longer keep each other apart (keep it PG-13 please)

SG-1, Anise, what if Sam became the host?

SG-1, Martouf/Lantash/Jolinar, your choice of host! But I think Sam works best. Please let it be a woman!

Any show, any Tok'ra, add any Tok'ra to an episode that does not have Tok'ra. How is the episode changed?

Any show, any character, write about what happened to the Tok'Ra in one of the parallel realities/alternative timelines seen in canon (e.g.: what became of the Tok'Ra in Ba'al's Continuum or what are the Tok'Ra upto in "The Road Not Taken" 'verse where Earth became isolationist and abandoned the galaxy to the Ori or are there any Tok'Ra on Atlantis when it is attacked by the weird cyborg aliens in episode "Daedalus Variations", etc.). You can make it a "Five Things" type of story featuring several realities if you want.

SG-1, Lt. Claire Tobias, Major Dean Newman, after witnessing the effectiveness of the N.I.D. team at infiltration and artifact retrieval in "Shades of Grey" the Tok'Ra request from Earth the help of Major Dean Newman &  Lt. Claire Tobias for a dangerous mission.

SG-1, Egeria, according to myth Egeria had a mate or male counterpart known as either Virbius or Manius Egerius. Who/what were they?

SG-1, alt-SG-1 team, in an AU version of the episode "Möbius" -- when the alt-SG-1 are captured by Apophis an undercover Tok'Ra spy within his ranks sees the video tape the Tau'ri brought with them about the original timeline where the Goa'uld have been defeated (the same tape alt-Jack showed to alt-Teal'c). Thus the Tok'Ra agent sets out to free the humans and help them restore the timeline. Does the Tok'Ra prevent alt-Daniel from becoming a host? Does he/she somehow swap the Goa'uld symbiote for a Tok'Ra one? It's up to you. (Bonus points if the Tok'Ra spy in Apophis's ranks turns out to be non-other than a non-brainwashed Cordesh)

SGU, Gloria Rush|Tok’ra, Dr. Rush had become callous following the death of his wife, saying his old self died with her. How would things have been different if the SGC offere Gloria Rush a chance to be cured of her cancer by become a Tok'Ra? Would she join Dr. Rush on Destiny?

SGU, any canon or original character, how would the episode(s) "Common Descent"/"Epilogue"/"Blockade" be different if there was one or more Tok'Ra on Destiny's crew?

SG-1, Anise|Freya +/ Daniel, there's a new interesting find in Egypt and Anise|Freya is invited to Earth to help figure it out.

SG-1, Anise|Freya, In an AU version of the episode "Meridian", Anise & Freya instead of Jacob & Selmak arrive to heal Daniel. When Daniel dies Anise/Freya, feeling the loss of Daniel and experiencing a degree of guilt for not being able to help him, offer to take his place on SG-1. How do things turn out differently with Anise/Freya on SG-1 instead of Jonas Quinn?

SG-1, Anise|Freya, tell me of their blending

SG-1, Egeria, after taking Kelmaa's host, she lived on for long enough to spawn a queen symbiote

SG-1, Egeria, Egeria accidentally takes a host while the Pangarans are experimenting on her. How does this change the situation for the Tok’ra?

SG-1, Khonsu, he does not die immediately when his first prime turns on him, and when SG-1 comes to meet him, one of them agrees to be his host - temporary at first, but maybe the SG-1 member decides to remain his host?

SG-1, Martouf|Lantash, Lantash was allowed to heal Martouf after they were shot as zatarcs. He succeeded and they survive.

SG-1, Sam|Jolinar, 'Nightwalkers' with Jolinar alive!

SG-1, Anise|Freya/Jack, he did not turn them away in Divide and Conquer

SG-1, Jacob|Selmak/Yosuuf|Garshaw, Jacob is surprised when he learns Selmak has a mate - Yosuuf|Garshaw. How does he react? Will he agree to continue the relationship?

Man, people keep reposting old prompts. How about some new ones?

Here are a few:

SG-1, any characters, a joint mission between the Free Jaffa and Tok'Ra

SG-1, any characters, what do the Sodan think of the Tok'Ra (can be set in canon or in an AU where the 2 groups met earlier)

SG-1, any characters, in the episode "The Quest" we saw that a bunch of people (including at least on that wore something like a Sodan uniform!) were stuck frozen in time in Morgan Le Fay's time-dilation maze that protected Merlin. What if after the events of the SGC decided to free those people and one of those trapped turned out to be a long-lost Tok'Ra? Maybe it turns out to be a queen symbiote?

SG-1, Daniel Jackson, Jack O'Neill, a Goa'uld impersonating a Chinese deity captures Daniel & Jack and plans to turn both of them into imperial eunuch! It's up to the rest of SG-1 and their Tok'Ra friends to rescue Daniel & Jack before its too late.

SG-1, Cameron Mitchell, Daniel Jackson, Samantha Carter, Teal'c, an AU for season 10 episode "Morpheus" -- the cure to the sleeping sickness is either not found or doesn't work on everyone. One or more members of SG-1 needs the healing powers of a Tok'Ra symbiote to fight off the parasite. it's up to you who becomes host and whom their symbiote is.

SG-1, Daniel Jackson, Jack O'Neill, Samantha Carter, Jolinar or Kanan, an AU for season 8 episode "Moebius" -- in the timeline where Ra took the Egyptian Stargate with him an archeological team in 2005 uncovers 2 canopic jars and a ZPM (not that they know what it is) at a dig in Giza. One of the jars holds a modern digital camera where the "original" SG-1 talks about their time-travel mission and how they screwed up. Unlike in the "canon" episode however the camera recording reveals that the either Sam or Jack as still host to Jolinar/Kanan -- who it turns out is the occupant of the second canopic jar. What happens next? Is Jolinar/Kanan given a host? If so, will he/she try to restore the timeline or use his/her knowledge to benefit the new timeline, making sure the SGC & Tok'Ra don't make the same mistakes they did before?

SG-1, any characters, a Goa'uld decides to defect to the Tok'Ra. Why did he/she do it? And how to the other Tok'Ra treat him/her?

SG-1, Sam|Jolinar, in the episode "In the Line of Duty", what if Sam (Jolinar) just told Janet she didn't have time to visit Cassie but would make it up to her later? Then Sam|Jolinar could just go with the others the next day, and no one would be suspicious. Sam|Jolinar then take the opportunity and run away. What happens now?

SG-1, Sam|Jolinar, how would the episode "1969" have been different if Sam was still host to Jolinar?

SG-1, Martouf|Lantash and SG-1 (and possible Sam/Martouf|Lantash), Martouf and Lantash survived their experience as zatarcs and healed up. However, they have memory loss, and maybe think Lantash is a Goa'uld (but a bit strange since he talks to his host). They decide to set themselves up as a minor System Lord, perhaps, with Lantash being in control when others are near them. They capture SG-1 and slowly start to remember.

SG-1, Sam|Jolinar, Jack and Teal'c interrupts the ashrak before he can kill Jolinar. Sam|Jolinar is handed over to the NID, for interrogations/experimentations. At some point (perhaps when they are being moved to a new location), Sam|Jolinar escapes. They are now on the run on Earth. What to do?

SGA, Ba'al and any Tok'ra, it turns out Ba'al is not dead. He or one of his clones escapes and has somehow made it to Pegasus. He has set himself up as a warlord and is gathering followers, promising to protect the ones that worship him from the Wraith. It turns out to be the truth. How? By making them Jaffa or hosts. He has a queen, and being Jaffa or a host protects you against being sucked dry by the Wraith. How does Atlantis people react to this? What about the Tok'ra? Do they come to Pegasus to help? (Yes). What can they do? Because it turns out Ba'al is fighting the Wraith and winning. Do they even want to stop him?

It turns out they are Tok'ra and that they have a Tok'ra queen, a daughter of Egeria that stranded in Pegasus long ago

SG-1, Martouf/Lantash, sometime around season 9 or 10. Rumors starts appearing about a friendly Goa'uld who rules a small domain in a distant part of the Milky Way. He has taken advantage of most of the Goa'uld being gone and has set himself up there. SG-1 goes to investigate and learns that it is someone they know! Martouf/Lantash, with amnesia after being treated as a zatarc, is alive. The Lantash that died was a clone, and one or more of the Tok'ra had lied to SG-1 and the rest of the Tok'ra. Are the liars really Goa'uld? Anyway, SG-1 must approach M/L and convince him to come back with them so he can be treated and get to remember.

SG-1, a Tok'ra queen, the Tok'ra capture a Goa'uld queen and test a new drug on her. It causes a temporary memory loss, and they convince her she is a Tok'ra that has been injured in an attack. She believes them. The plan is to get her to spawn more Tok'ra (or at least non-Goa'uld) while she has memory loss, perhaps even another queen. Do the Tok'ra succeed? If so, what happens with the new young Tok'ra? They do not have Goa'uld genetic memory, but also not Tok'ra. They need to learn everything from scratch. The story could also be about the Tok'ra that are assigned to teach the youngsters.

SG-1, OC Tok'ra and SG-1, either Sam, Jack, or Daniel is out driving a late night. They are witness to an accident - maybe two other cars hit each other and the guilty one drives off leaving the other car with a mortally injured driver in. Sam, Jack, or Daniel runs to see if they can help, and the dying man/woman begs them to "take care of their friend". When they say yes and ask who, the host grabs them and pulls them down and the symbiote changes hosts. The mortally injured host dies. How does Sam, Jack, or Daniel react now? The symbiote is Tok'ra and apologetic, but did not want to make their now dead host sad by not taking the new host he/she had gotten them.

SG-1/SGA, Jack O'Neill, Samantha Carter, Daniel Jackson, Teal'c, Jacob|Selmak, Apophis, AU starting from the episodes "Exodus"/"Enemies" of SG-1. When Vorash's sun goes supernova SG-1's and Apophis's Hat'aks are flung to the Pegasus galaxy instead of Replicator-infested space of Ida. Does SG-1 still manage to save Teal'c? SG-1, Jonas Hanson, Matthew Baker, any Tok'Ra, AU for the episode "The First Commandmant". How would the Tok'Ra respond if they came across a planet where a man declared himself a god and acts like a Goa'uld? Let's say the Tok'Ra find P3X-513 while in search of a site for a new base and the SGC hasn't yet taken out Hanson because Lt. Conner was killed before SG-1 arrived on the planet so Earth never learned what the mad leader of SG-9 was up to.

Some more New Prompts:

SG-1, any characters, we didn't see much of the Tok'Ra in season 9 or 10 but they must have been contributing to the fight against the Ori somehow, right? So how about some fanfiction centering on Tok'Ra operations against the Ori.

SG-1, Freya|Anise, prior!Daniel Jackson, the Tok'Ra send Freya|Anise on an undercover mission sometime after the events of the episode "The Quest" (Part 2). During their mission they run into Daniel Jackson, now a Prior of the Ori. What happens when Anise & Freya are captured by the Ori's followers? Can be Freya|Anise/Daniel Jackson if you want.

Old Prompt:

SG-1, any, a new race and/or planet contact the Tok'ra and insist that they mediate a meeting between them and the Tau'ri.
